
Amanda Louise Holden, born on the 16th of February, 1971 is an English actress and media personality. Since 2007 she has been an adjudicator on the TV talent show Britain's Got Talent on ITV. She also hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. At nine, she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared in TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Along with Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge in Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
