Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American performer and actress. She is a Michigan native, born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her birthplace was in Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was discovered at a very young age. She attended her audition in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed as an agent was also auditioned for ads on newspapers and TV. She also started taking private acting classes at this time. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in drama and music club. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy in her high school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the role of Becky of Tom Sawyer. That was the same year that she also made her first credited debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance on her first Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
