Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness and is part of the GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. Within her position at GI TOC she is focused on assassinations - including disappearances in addition to violence of different kinds in the contexts of illicit economies. Her interests in research also include the impact of criminal organizations on human rights and humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum laude degree with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies at Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. on Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree in magna cum laude Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been a practicing attorney for over four years at a law firm that focuses on litigation involving public law. Her past experiences also included helping in roles with non-governmental organisations with their headquarters within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
