Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, the American screen and stage actor and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress due to her role on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with the B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actress, producer and director who works in television and film. She began her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to be a part of numerous television shows, both mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and appeared on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just high praise but also received a host of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. In 1995 she appeared in her first performance on stage in The Tempest as Ariel. The credits on stage include Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production directed by Joe Turner. In terms of her work in the film industry, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her work in television she's been recognized for her role in the role of a character who is a regular on ABC's police drama High Incident.
