Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actress and musician. She began by releasing humorous, cleverly written lyrics in rap that dealt with issues like racial identification and sexuality. Then she expanded her audience to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came in the form of trumpet. In the following years, she took up the classical and hip-hop genres. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she completed her degree. The track My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a huge hit across the Internet and was later featured on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. It also included other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track was tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. Her resume included both the musician and author. She was now looking for a new career path in acting. In addition to early television shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered many notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
